Coinbound at a glance
Coinbound says it has focused only on crypto and Web3 marketing since 2018. Its about page says the agency operates out of New York, grew out of a niche California agency under founder Ty Smith, and is part of the Nowbound Agency Network.
The Coinbound homepage lists these services as of 20 October 2026:
- Influencer marketing
- PR and earned media, plus press release distribution through its Mintfunnel platform
- SEO and AI search optimisation
- Social media management and community management
- PPC and paid ads
- Fractional CMO, advisory and tokenomics consulting
- Branding, design and event production
Its focus areas are crypto, Web3, NFT, DeFi, meme coins, RWA and blockchain, and the FAQ also names prediction markets. The influencer page says Coinbound has run campaigns with more than 800 creators on X, YouTube, TikTok and Telegram. That figure is Coinbound's own and we have not audited it.
Coinbound does not publish prices. Its pricing page is a quote form, and the homepage FAQ says pricing varies by service mix and scope. The form says the strategist who would run the work writes each plan, which takes 24 to 48 hours.

The split is about scope. Coinbound, NinjaPromo, Crowdcreate and X10 Agency sell creator work as one channel among several. Lunar Strategy's menu centres on X, KOLs, PR and community. 3betmedia sells creator work only and does not run SEO, PPC, PR wires or community management.
The alternatives in brief
Lunar Strategy
Lunar Strategy says it has worked with crypto projects since 2019 and lists an office on Avenida Duque de Loulé in Lisbon. Its about page claims 250+ clients and more than 1,000 KOLs in its network. It suits a token team that wants X-first KOL activity combined with PR, community and event work.
X10 Agency
X10 Agency describes itself as a full-service crypto marketing and PR agency working with token, NFT, DeFi and exchange projects since 2016. Its influencer page lists videos, reviews, interviews and posts across YouTube, X, TikTok, Instagram and Discord, and claims a network of 300+ KOLs. It also sells promotion packages for China, Korea and Japan, which may matter if Asian reach is your gap.
Crowdcreate
Crowdcreate is a US-headquartered marketing agency and advisory that says it has worked in influencer marketing since 2014 and crypto since 2017. Its crypto influencer page describes researching influencers, writing pitches and running outreach on X, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. It also sells investor marketing, so it suits a team that is raising capital and marketing at the same time.
NinjaPromo
NinjaPromo is a full-service digital marketing agency that bills a monthly subscription by the hour. Its pricing page starts at $4,000 a month for 40 hours, and its influencer service covers Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch and X. It fits a buyer who wants creator work bundled with SEO, ads and design under one published rate.
3betmedia
3betmedia publishes this page and is one of the options, so weigh our entry accordingly. We run KOL and influencer campaigns, streamer sponsorships on Kick, Twitch and YouTube, clipping, UGC, memes and AI video for crypto, iGaming and prediction market brands, with campaigns from $2,000. We do not run SEO, PPC, PR wires or community management, so our crypto KOL marketing agency service suits a buyer whose purchase is the creator work itself.

Where Coinbound and 3betmedia differ
The two agencies overlap on one channel: paid creator content for crypto brands. Outside it, they sell different things.
- Scope. Coinbound sells PR, SEO, paid ads, community management and advisory alongside influencers. 3betmedia sells creator work only.
- Verticals. Both name crypto and prediction markets. 3betmedia also works with iGaming brands, which Coinbound does not list among its focus areas.
- Formats. Coinbound's influencer page centres on X, YouTube, TikTok and Telegram. 3betmedia adds live streamer sponsorships on Kick and Twitch, clipping and AI video.
- Pricing. Coinbound quotes each plan. 3betmedia publishes a starting price of $2,000 per campaign.
- Location. Coinbound operates out of New York. 3betmedia is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
If you need press placements or SEO as well as creators, an agency with a wider menu, or two specialists, may fit better than we do. If you are deciding how to buy creators at all, the KOL marketplace vs agency guide explains which model suits which brief.
How to choose between Coinbound and its alternatives
Ask every shortlisted agency the same questions, in writing, before you compare totals.
- Markets and licensing. Which countries will the creators' audiences come from, and can your product legally be promoted there? For iGaming and prediction markets, check the licence in each target market and keep content away from under-18 audiences.
- Creator vetting. Ask for named creators, their audience country split and their past sponsored posts before signing, not a network size.
- Reporting. Ask whether the report will show registrations, deposits, wallet connections or trades from tracked links, or only views and impressions.
- Disclosure. Confirm every sponsored post carries a clear ad label and that no creator promises price moves or returns.
- Contract terms. Check payment timing, refund rules, what happens if a creator misses a slot, and who owns the content afterwards.
Our crypto KOL due diligence checklist covers the creator checks in more depth. For budgets, the crypto KOL marketing cost guide breaks out agency fees, creator rates and production, so two quotes can be read on the same lines.
Read network claims with care
Agency sites quote network sizes. Coinbound says 800+ creators, Lunar Strategy says 1,000+ KOLs and X10 Agency says 300+. These numbers are self-reported and may count different things, such as creators worked with once or creators on an active roster.
A bigger number does not tell you whether the ten creators who suit your market will accept your brief, or when. Ask each agency for a shortlist built for your product, with availability and rates confirmed by the creators.
The guide to comparing crypto KOL agencies sets out a proposal test you can run on every option, including us.
What to send before a first call
Your product and the one action you want users to take. Your target markets and any licensing limits. Launch dates, a budget range, and whether you also need PR, SEO or community work.
Any creators you already work with, and the results you tracked from them. Your disclosure wording and who approves posts before they go live.
If creator campaigns are the main purchase, our crypto influencer marketing agency page shows how we scope KOLs, clips and UGC together. If you need a full marketing team, start with the wider agencies in the table.
Frequently asked questions
What is Coinbound?
Coinbound is a crypto and Web3 marketing agency that says it has focused on the sector since 2018 and operates out of New York. Its services include influencer marketing, PR and earned media, SEO, paid ads, social media and community management, advisory, branding and events. It does not publish prices; plans are quoted on request.
What are the alternatives to Coinbound?
Agencies that serve similar crypto buyers include Lunar Strategy in Lisbon, X10 Agency, Crowdcreate in the United States, NinjaPromo and 3betmedia in Vilnius. They differ in scope: some sell a full marketing menu, while 3betmedia sells creator campaigns only. Compare them on services, creator formats, published pricing and what they will report on.
How does Coinbound compare with 3betmedia?
Coinbound sells influencer marketing as part of a wider menu that includes PR, SEO, paid ads and community management. 3betmedia runs creator work only: KOL campaigns, streamer sponsorships, clipping, UGC, memes and AI video for crypto, iGaming and prediction market brands. Coinbound quotes each plan, while 3betmedia publishes campaigns from $2,000.
Is a bigger influencer network a good reason to choose an agency?
Not on its own. Network figures on agency sites are self-reported and count different things. What matters is whether the agency can name creators whose audiences sit in your target markets, confirm they will accept your brief, and report on actions such as sign-ups or deposits rather than views alone.
When does a creator-only agency make more sense than a full-service one?
If you need PR, SEO, paid ads and community management in one contract, a full-service agency keeps them under one owner. If creator campaigns are the main purchase, a specialist can be easier to compare because the scope is narrower. Some teams use both, with each agency's deliverables written down separately.
