Why slot launches run through streamers
Many players see a new slot on a stream before they find it in a lobby. Push Gaming premiered Wheel of Wonders in 2020 with a one-hour CasinoDaddy stream on Casumo before the game went live, and our guide to launching a slot game with streamers covers the studio and operator handoff.
- A new title competes with the whole lobby. A thumbnail cannot show volatility or how a feature triggers. A streamer playing the game live shows both in the first session.
- Exclusive windows need an audience. Some studios give one partner first release. Pragmatic Play gave aggregator Hub88 a two-week first-to-market window for Medusa's Stone in 2024. Streams fill that window with players who want to see the game early.
- Operators want proof and assets. A casino deciding on lobby placement looks for a game that draws attention, plus trailers and clips it is licensed to reuse on its own channels.
- Feature moments travel as clips. A retrigger or a full bonus round makes a short clip. Cut with the bet size and game name on screen, it reaches viewers who never saw the stream.
Slot launch activities by phase
Slot launch marketing is a short run of campaigns, from teaser to long tail. This is how the creator work changes at each phase, and what a studio can measure.
| Phase | Creator activity | Assets | What to measure |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-launch | Streamer briefing on the feature sheet and embargoed early recordings | Teaser clips and trailer cuts in each launch language | Streamers confirmed per launch date and teaser views |
| Exclusive window | Showcase streams on the first operator or aggregator, usually on Kick | Stream VODs and first-session clips | Live viewers and the partner's play data, where shared |
| Launch week | Showcases across several channels and a clip campaign from bonus rounds and big wins | Clips with stake on screen and an operator-ready trailer | Verified clip views, unique players and rounds from operator reports |
| Post-launch | Repeat sessions by the streamers whose viewers played most | AI-localised clips and trailers for new markets | Returning players on the title over the following weeks |
Twitch bars streams, links and codes for slots that lack a US or comparable licence, and YouTube age-restricts online casino content, so Kick usually carries the live showcase. Those deals run through our Kick streamer sponsorship management service.
Our slot launch campaign process
- One fact sheet. We take the game name, build, RTP versions, volatility, max win and feature list from your team and lock them into the sheet every creator works from.
- Streamer casting. We pick slot streamers whose viewers sit in markets where the title will be live, playing at a partner operator that verifies players by ID, as Kick requires.
- Mode stated on screen. Each session's mode is agreed in writing. A demo session, or a balance funded by the studio or operator, is disclosed to viewers and repeated during long streams.
- Clips and trailers. Bonus rounds and big wins are cut into short clips with stake and game name visible, and trailers are cut in vertical and horizontal formats.
- Localisation and reporting. Approved masters are localised per market, then results are reported from operator and aggregator data where you can share it.
Language versions follow our AI video production for iGaming workflow: AI voice and captions on approved footage, checked by a fluent reviewer in every market.

What you get
- A launch content plan Phases, streamers, clip volumes and dates tied to your go-live and any exclusive window.
- A streamer shortlist Slot streamers with audience location, partner operator, past launches and a fit note.
- A creator fact sheet Game facts, RTP versions and banned claims such as implied win frequency.
- Logged showcase streams Timestamps, session mode and on-screen disclosure checked for every paid session.
- A clip campaign Feature moments and big wins cut with stake on screen, posted by creators and clippers.
- Trailers and language versions Vertical and horizontal cuts, localised per market and cleared for operator reuse.
A studio may not hold operator player data, so we agree up front which operator or aggregator figures you can share: unique players, rounds and returning players on the title. Clip views from iGaming clipping campaigns are verified and reported on their own.
Reusing a streamer's footage in studio or operator ads needs written terms, so reuse rights go into each deal, following our guide to creator usage rights.

Frequently asked questions
What does a slot game marketing agency do?
It gets a new title watched by players and noticed by operators. At 3betmedia that means Kick streamer showcases timed to your release and any exclusive window, clip campaigns from bonus rounds and big wins, short-form trailers and AI-localised versions per market. We do not handle game integration, aggregation, certification or PR.
How much does a slot launch campaign cost?
Campaigns start at $2,000, and the first gets 10% off. The budget depends on the number of streamers, showcase hours, clip volume, trailer cuts and languages. We price each plan from your release schedule and book nothing until you approve it.
Should streamers play a new slot in demo mode or with real money?
Either can work if viewers know which they are watching. Demo mode shows the features with no money at stake. A real-money session on a balance funded by the studio or an operator is still a paid relationship, and FTC guidance says anything of value must be disclosed, in the stream itself and repeated during long sessions. In Great Britain, licensed operators must verify age before anyone plays even a free-to-play version.
How should creators talk about RTP and big wins?
Accurately and with context. Many slots ship with several RTP settings and the operator picks one, so creators quote the versions you supply and tell viewers to check the game's info screen. UK rules require game information to show the RTP, house edge or chance of winning. A big win is shown with its stake and never presented as typical.
Do UK game rules change launch content?
Yes. UK game design rules for slots, in place since 2021 and widened to other online casino games on 17 January 2025, set a 2.5-second minimum spin speed for slots, ban autoplay, bar features that speed up play, such as turbo and slam stops, and ban celebrating a return equal to or less than the stake. Footage from an international build can show things UK players never see, so UK clips are recorded on the UK build.
