Viewers are not depositors: the funnel numbers
Track360's 2026 funnel benchmarks, built from anonymised affiliate program data on its platform, put streaming traffic for casino and sportsbook programs at a 5.5% click-to-registration rate, 41% registration-to-first-deposit, and 2.3% click-to-FTD overall. Social and influencer traffic in the same dataset runs lower: 4.5%, 30% and 1.4%.
Read those two rows together and the shape of streamer conversion appears. Streaming produces fewer clicks than a big social post, but the people who click register and deposit at a higher rate. Track360 describes it as small click volume with loyal converters. That is why a streamer with 800 average viewers can out-convert an influencer with 300,000 followers, and why viewer count is the wrong thing to buy on.
The same dataset puts the online casino vertical overall at 6.4% click-to-registration and 41% registration-to-FTD. If a streamer's code is producing registrations that deposit at 10%, the problem is usually the offer or the audience's market, not the streamer. If it is producing deposits at 60%, check the traffic before celebrating.
Our guide to casino streamers versus influencers covers when each format fits. This page assumes you have decided on streamers and want the ones that convert.
Six signals a streamer converts, visible before you sign
| Signal | How to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Chat asks about the site, not the balance | Watch two full streams. Count questions about the code, the offer, withdrawals and game availability. | Viewers who ask how to play where the streamer plays are the ones who register. |
| Viewer geography matches your licence | Ask for the platform analytics export: country split and peak hours. | A streamer whose audience is 60% in a market you cannot serve converts at 40% of what the viewer count suggests. |
| Consistent schedule | Check the last 60 days of stream history for frequency and start times. | Deposits follow habit. A streamer live four nights a week at the same hour builds the audience that deposits. |
| Previous sponsors renewed | Ask which operators sponsored them for more than one term. | Operators renew streamers whose codes produce FTDs. One-term histories are a warning. |
| Real play alongside bonus content | Look at the mix of bonus hunts, bonus buys and ordinary sessions. | Audiences built only on big bonus-buy wins expect wins. Audiences that watch ordinary sessions understand the product they are signing up for. |
| Accepts a per-FTD element | Offer a fee per stream plus a payment per verified first deposit on their code. | Streamers who know their audience deposits accept it. Streamers selling viewer hours decline. |
The second and third signals do most of the work. Our micro versus macro casino influencer guide covers why a smaller, consistent, in-market streamer often beats a larger one on cost per depositor, and the Twitch versus Kick comparison explains how platform rules change which streamers are even available to sponsor.
Track every stream from code to 30-day revenue
Sponsoring streamers without per-stream tracking is paying for viewer hours and hoping. The tracking that makes renewal decisions possible is short.
- One code and one landing page per streamer. Never a shared campaign code across a roster.
- Per-stream log. Date, hours live, average and peak viewers, clips published, registrations and FTDs on the code within 72 hours.
- Cost per viewer-hour, per registration and per FTD. Our free streamer sponsorship cost calculator works these out from the fee and the stream log, and tells you the highest fee per stream that still meets a target.
- 30-day net gaming revenue per FTD cohort. A streamer whose depositors are gone in a week is a bonus-abuse channel, not an acquisition channel.
- A maturing window before ranking. Ranking on day-7 FTDs rewards the wrong streamers.
The casino creator CAC guide explains how to let a deposit cohort mature and how to build the spend ledger the cost side depends on.
Attribution has limits. Viewers who watch on one device and register on another, or who search the brand name a week later, are invisible to the code. The iGaming influencer attribution guide covers how to estimate that gap without inventing it.

What agency-reported streamer campaigns look like
We do not publish casino streamer conversion figures from our own client campaigns. One agency that does is Octo Media, whose case studies page reports 113,000+ first-time depositors from 500+ streamers and influencers at an average CPA of around $72, with the explicit caveat that the figures are not audited benchmarks. Treat them as one operator's reported experience.
Their per-campaign rows are more useful than the headline. A Canadian casino pilot with 50 creators on Twitch and Kick over 90 days reports 3,950 FTDs on a $250,000 budget, around $63 per FTD, with a 10.3% registration-to-FTD rate. A European crypto casino pilot with 25 creators on $25,000 reports 250 FTDs at around $100 each and a 29.4% registration-to-FTD rate. A UK sportsbook campaign on Champions League nights reports 2,800 FTDs at around $71 with 35% registration-to-FTD.
Three things to take from that, with the caveat attached. Reported CPAs sit in a band from the high fifties to the low hundreds of dollars across markets. Registration-to-FTD varies by three times between campaigns, which is the offer and the market talking, not the streamers. And a $25,000 pilot produced enough FTDs to rank 25 creators, which is the point of a pilot.

The renewal rule
Renewal is where converting streamers separate from popular ones, and the decision should be mechanical. After the first term, rank every streamer on cost per FTD and 30-day NGR per FTD. Renew the top half on a fee per stream plus a payment per verified FTD. Retest the middle with a changed offer or a changed schedule. Release the bottom quarter regardless of viewer count.
The streamer sponsorship renewal scorecard sets this out as a worksheet, including the delivery checks that sit beside the numbers: streams delivered on schedule, the code shown on screen, the disclosure spoken and displayed.
Renewal terms should move toward the deposit. A streamer with a converting audience will accept a lower fee per stream for a per-FTD payment because it pays them more. A streamer who refuses is telling you what their code will do next term.
Two streamers, same viewers, different results
This example is hypothetical. Two Kick streamers each average 1,200 viewers and are sponsored for twelve streams a month at the same fee.
Streamer A plays bonus buys at high stakes, posts the big wins as clips, and draws a chat that reacts to balances. After a month: 2,900 clicks, 131 registrations, 19 FTDs, and a 30-day cohort NGR that does not cover the fees. Registration-to-FTD is 14.5%.
Streamer B plays ordinary sessions on a fixed schedule, explains the deposit offer at the top of every hour, and answers withdrawal questions in chat. After a month: 1,700 clicks, 112 registrations, 47 FTDs, and a cohort still active at day 30. Registration-to-FTD is 42%, close to the Track360 median for the vertical.
Same viewers, same fee, two and a half times the depositors from B. A's clips reached more people and converted fewer of them. The renewal decision is B on per-FTD terms, A released or retested with a changed brief. The viewer count would have told you to keep both.
Compliance is part of conversion
A stream that converts in a market where the brand cannot legally take the deposit converts into refunds and regulatory risk. Geography checks, age gating and licensed-market messaging belong in the brief, and the gambling influencer compliance guide covers the rules by market.
Disclosure also affects conversion. The FTC wants the paid relationship stated with the endorsement, on screen and in audio for live streams, and repeated during the stream. Streamers who disclose clearly and still convert have audiences that trust them. That is the audience you are paying for.
What to bring to the first call
The markets you are licensed in and the platforms you can use. The deposit offer and any limits on how it can be described. Your current cost per FTD from affiliates, so we have a ceiling. Any streamers already on a code, with the stream log and FTD export.
From that we shortlist streamers by market and conversion signals, set the per-stream tracking and propose terms inside the casino streamer marketing service. We will tell you which streamers on your list have the audience but not the market, and we will not book them for that market.
Frequently asked questions
How do you know if a casino streamer actually converts?
By first deposits on their unique code inside a fixed window, and by whether those depositors are still active at day 30. Viewer counts, clips and chat activity show reach; the code export shows conversion.
What conversion rate should casino streamer traffic have?
Track360's 2026 benchmarks put streaming traffic for casino and sportsbook programs at around 5.5% click-to-registration and 41% registration-to-first-deposit. A streamer well below that usually has an audience in the wrong market or an offer that does not land.
Do bigger casino streamers convert more players?
They produce more clicks, not necessarily more depositors per dollar. A smaller streamer with a consistent schedule and an in-market audience often costs less per first deposit than a large one whose viewers are spread across markets you cannot serve.
How should casino streamers be paid?
A fee per stream for the first term, then a fee per stream plus a payment per verified first deposit for streamers whose codes converted. Per-FTD terms pay converting streamers more and filter out the ones who were selling viewer hours.
How long before you can judge a streamer sponsorship?
A month of streams and a 30-day maturing window on the deposit cohort, so roughly 60 days before the first ranking. Judging on week one rewards bonus-buy audiences that deposit once and leave.
