Why digital rips need a different creator playbook
Rips sit between collectibles, casino streaming and crypto. A creator brief written for any one of those three misses half the risk.
- The category filled up in one year. GameStop launched Power Packs in April 2026, Underdog added rips in September, Coinbase teased packs on 28 September and PrizePicks launched PrizePicks Packs in October. Rips by Triumph reached 6.64 million US downloads by August, per Sensor Tower estimates.
- The money is concentrated. Pine Analytics found 548 wallets supplied 83% of Collector Crypt's record $433.5 million in Q3 2026 pack payments. One whale streamer can move more volume than fifty small ones, and can also drag your brand into a story you did not plan.
- The gambling question is open. PrizePicks briefed every state attorney general before launch. Whatnot faces arbitration demands claiming randomized breaks are illegal lotteries under California law. Creator copy that says a pack pays is the fastest way to lose that argument.
- The audience skews young. Pokémon is the biggest set on most platforms, and its fans include children. Creators must have adult audiences, and every pack opening stays 18+ on screen and in the targeting.
Live pack openings borrow most of their mechanics from casino streamer marketing: watch time, reactions to the pull, and a code on screen.
Digital rips platforms in October 2026 and what creators must show
These are the public models we brief creators against. Terms change often, so we copy the live odds and buyback pages into every brief rather than trusting a summary.
| Platform | Public model | What the creator shows on screen |
|---|---|---|
| PrizePicks Packs | Packs from $1 to $2,500 for basketball, football and Pokémon cards; sell back at 100% of fair market value within 3 days | 18+ and eligible areas only, the 3-day window, no promise that a pack pays |
| Rips by Triumph | App packs from $1 to $2,500 with published payout distributions | The payout table, read out before the first pack |
| GameStop Power Packs | Packs from $25 to $2,500 with PSA graded cards held in the PSA Vault | Ship, keep or sell back, shown as three equal choices |
| Courtyard | Graded cards tokenized on Polygon, slabs in Brink's vaults, 90% fair market value buyback | The buyback rate and the wallet sign-up steps |
| Collector Crypt | Solana gacha packs, mostly Pokémon, with a token and buyback program | Pack odds, the fact that the token is a separate risk, no price talk on the token |
We do not rank these platforms or say which one returns more. That would be the claim that turns a creator into a tipster. Pricing for the KOL side of a campaign is covered in our crypto KOL marketing cost guide.
Our digital rips creator campaign process
- Terms snapshot. We save your odds page, buyback rate, pack tiers, eligible markets and age rule on the day of the brief, and recheck them before each stream.
- Adult audience check. Each creator shares audience age and location data. Channels with a large under-18 audience are dropped, however many packs they could sell.
- Script with odds first. Odds and buyback terms are read out before the first pack. Creators talk about the cards, the chase and the collection, never about profit or getting your money back.
- Live rips and clips. Streams on YouTube, Kick or X where each platform's sponsorship rules allow it, with every big pull clipped for Shorts, TikTok and X within 24 hours, each clip labelled as paid.
- Cohort reporting. We report first pack bought, repeat buyers and sell-back share by creator from your back office, so you can see who brings collectors and who brings churn.
Clip pricing and view checks follow our crypto clipping agency model, with the 18+ label burned into every clip.

What you get
- A vetted creator shortlist Streamers, crypto KOLs and card creators with audience age, location, pull history and past sponsors.
- A terms snapshot per brief Odds, buyback rate, tiers and eligible markets, dated and attached to every booking.
- Approved scripts and overlays Odds first, buyback wording, paid label, 18+ line and the claims creators may never make.
- Live rips plus clips Booked streams and short clips of the pulls, ready for Shorts, TikTok and X.
- Collector cohort reports First packs, repeat buyers and sell-back share per creator, not just views.
- A pause plan Who pulls links, codes and VODs if a state, regulator or platform changes the rules mid-campaign.
Rips data looks great on day one and terrible on day thirty if a creator only brings people chasing a hit. We judge creators on 30-day repeat buyers and sell-back share, and pause anyone whose cohort sells back nearly everything at once.
Every paid stream and clip carries a clear ad label, the same rule the FTC applies to any sponsored post. Our creator ad disclosure examples show the wording we use.
Why 3betmedia
Digital rips need three skills at once: crypto KOL vetting for the onchain platforms, casino streamer compliance for the live openings, and clipping for the pulls. The team behind 3betmedia has run all three since 2018, for brands such as Binance, MEXC and Gate.io, and we work only on creators, streamers, clips and UGC.
We do not give legal opinions and we do not write copy that sells a pack as an investment. Your counsel signs off the markets and the wording, you approve every creator and the budget, and nothing is booked before that. Our gambling influencer compliance guide sets out the checks we carry over.

Frequently asked questions
What does a digital rips marketing agency do?
At 3betmedia it means creators only. We cast streamers, crypto KOLs and clippers with adult audiences, write odds-first scripts for your approval, run the live rips and clips, and report first packs, repeat buyers and sell-back share by creator.
How much does a digital rips creator campaign cost?
Campaigns start at $2,000, and the first gets 10% off. Creator fees depend on hours live, real average viewers, clips and whether the deal is a flat fee, a performance fee or a mix. We price each plan from your brief and book nothing until you approve it.
Are digital rips gambling?
That is unsettled and depends on the jurisdiction. Platforms argue a pack is a purchase of a real card. Critics point to random outcomes, prices and instant cash buybacks. We do not decide it: your counsel sets the markets and wording, and creators never present a pack as a bet that pays.
Which creators work best for pack opening apps?
Card breakers and Pokémon openers who already stream long sessions, crypto KOLs for onchain platforms, and clippers who turn big pulls into short videos. All of them need audiences that are verifiably adult and inside your eligible markets.
Can you promote onchain gacha platforms with a token?
Yes, with the pack and the token kept apart. Creators talk about the cards and the odds. They do not give price targets for the token, and any mention of it says it is a separate, volatile asset.
