Identify the launch fact that changed
Ask the product owner what the team can still substantiate. The issue might affect deployment, access, a partner statement or the timing of a public announcement. Write the dependency in ordinary language and attach the owner’s current decision. “Launch delayed” is too broad to tell an editor which footage is still usable.
Do not let an agency turn an audit report into permission to launch. The client’s technical specialists decide whether remediation and other release conditions are complete. The campaign team translates that decision into accurate content and posting instructions.
The initial PR and creator sequence explains the original launch order. Once a date slips, build a separate change record. Preserve the earlier brief so everyone can see which commitment changed and why the current version supersedes it.
Sort the assets by what makes them expire
Check each file for spoken dates, countdown graphics, availability claims, token identifiers and destination links. Captions and thumbnails can become stale even when the main video remains accurate. Include language versions, short clips and creator drafts that never entered the brand’s asset folder.
Mark an asset date-dependent if changing the launch date changes its meaning. Mark it product-dependent if the demonstration relies on a feature or environment that has changed. A general explanation may remain reusable, but it still needs a current factual review before publishing.
Keep the creator’s real experience intact. The FTC’s endorsement guidance requires truthful representations where US rules apply. A postponed launch is no reason to change “I tested the demo” into “I use the live product,” or to imply availability before the client confirms it.
Record the booking decision as well as the edit
Use this proposed change-order worksheet for each creator. Existing agreements control payment and cancellation; this table does not determine contractual rights. Ask the responsible commercial owner to resolve terms before directing extra work.
| Line | Decision to record |
|---|---|
| Reserved appearance | Original time, creator availability and revised request |
| Completed work | Accepted footage, drafts and evidence of delivery |
| Required changes | Specific date, claim, link or product correction |
| Commercial treatment | Agreed amendment, extra work or cancellation decision |
| Unused rights | Licence period and whether a new date affects it |
| Audience statement | Approved wording about the changed timing |
| Release gate | Client confirmation and final version required to restart |
Do not assume a delayed launch automatically extends a usage licence or gives the brand another appearance. A change of time zone or day can remove the creator’s availability. Resolve that before a producer promises that the new schedule will hold.

Send one hold notice to every publishing owner
Give creators a concise instruction: which deliverable is on hold, whether anything may still publish, which draft is obsolete and where the next update will arrive. Ask for acknowledgement. Check the brand scheduler separately because a creator cannot pause assets controlled by the client.
Apply the version and approval workflow to every replacement. A screenshot saying “looks good” on the old cut is not approval for new product wording. Link the current file, caption and thumbnail in one handoff, then remove obsolete copies from the active handoff folder.
Moderators need the same approved timing statement. If a new date is unknown, say so. Avoid inventing a fresh countdown to fill the gap. The community can receive a factual explanation of the current product state without a promise about token price, liquidity or investor demand.
A hypothetical launch that moves after recording
A project has booked an interview and commissioned a tutorial. The client delays public access while it resolves a release dependency. The interview discusses the current test environment accurately. The tutorial says the feature is live and ends with the original launch date.
Keep the tutorial on hold and identify the exact replacement lines. Review whether the interview can publish independently; a factual discussion of a test environment does not authorize a token sale invitation in its caption. Confirm the creator’s revised availability and agree any new recording work.
Run the changed language through the claim-review record. If a new link or wallet step appears, verify it with the client through the established contact route. Ethereum.org’s scam-prevention guidance supports checking official destinations and protecting recovery information; it does not certify the project’s launch.
The resulting purchase-order amendment should describe completed work, new work and the pending publication decision. This hypothetical example supplies a review method, not a default cancellation fee or a guarantee that the original audience will return.
Restart when the evidence and the booking agree
Obtain the client’s current release decision, verify the final destination and ask the creator to confirm the revised slot. Compare the whole viewing experience against the new fact pack. Dates inside captions, pinned comments and subtitles deserve the same check as spoken lines.
Publish only the current approved version and retain its live URL. Reconcile the actual release against the amendment so the invoice reflects the work agreed. Report a lost appearance or unfinished replacement plainly rather than counting the original booking as delivered.
3betmedia can coordinate KOL bookings, creator content and launch communication within a confirmed campaign scope. Bring the existing commitments and the client’s release dependency to the discussion so the rebooking plan starts with the work already in motion.
