Name the product and the publishing route
Write a plain description of the product before the creative idea. A wallet tutorial, exchange promotion and token sale invitation raise different questions. Include the intended country, account owner, destination and action the viewer would take. “Web3 awareness” leaves too much room for the next person to make assumptions.
Separate the work you are buying. The creator might deliver footage for the brand to review, publish a commercial post on their own account, or authorize an eligible paid placement. Record each use as its own line. If the campaign has no confirmed publishing route, commission only the work whose scope and permitted use you can establish.
Our crypto UGC production covers briefing and asset creation. Platform eligibility remains a release dependency. Agree who will obtain the relevant policy decision before the creator reserves a posting date.
Use the policy for the actual placement
TikTok’s Financial Services advertising policy contains country-specific rules and product distinctions. Some entries require licensing, platform permission and age restrictions. Others prohibit particular services. A screenshot of a rule from another market cannot approve your placement. Save the exact policy section, country, product category and check date.
Sponsored creator content also needs its own current branded-content review. TikTok One points creators to its Branded Content Policy and requires the commercial disclosure setting for promotional content. That setting identifies the commercial relationship; it does not make an otherwise prohibited promotion permissible.
Do not describe a paid script as organic because a creator uploads it through a normal account. Equally, do not assume an unpaid educational discussion grants a brand permission to commission the same message. If the applicable rule cannot be established, mark the distribution line on hold. Recheck before release because policies and account permissions can change.
Keep one eligibility record for each use
Use this proposed worksheet alongside the client’s platform and market review. The status belongs to the specific use, rather than to the video as a whole. Record an unresolved item as unknown; a blank cell can look like approval when a producer is working quickly.
| Field | Record before booking |
|---|---|
| Product | Actual service, features shown and destination |
| Market | Country and intended adult audience |
| Route | Asset delivery, sponsored creator post or paid placement |
| Account | Publishing handle and account owner |
| Policy evidence | Current rule, dated check and any required permission |
| Decision | Proceed for this use, hold, or decline; named decision owner |
| Scope changes | New destination, claim, market or paid use triggers another review |
Give the final record to the producer and creator. Their handoff should show which uses are approved and which remain excluded. A paid-use request arriving after the shoot is a scope change, even if the file itself stays identical.

Brief a demonstration without inventing an endorsement
Ask the creator to show an approved task in a safe recording environment. Keep balances, personal identifiers and recovery information out of the footage. If the interface is a prototype, label that status visibly and avoid describing planned functionality as available today.
Build the fact pack through the crypto creator claim review. A product owner should substantiate the feature being shown. The creator should not claim to have used a service for months when the assignment began yesterday. Remove return predictions and unsupported safety claims instead of hiding qualifications in a caption.
For a commercial relationship subject to US rules, the FTC’s guidance calls for clear disclosure and honest endorsements. Other markets have their own requirements. Keep the disclosure in the actual viewing experience and save the reviewed caption with the cut. A licence to reuse footage does not replace that review.
A hypothetical wallet-video booking
Suppose a wallet team requests one tutorial, a post on a creator’s TikTok account and paid amplification. The team has approved the product facts but has not established branded-content eligibility or paid permission in the target market. Those are three separate work items with different readiness states.
The producer can scope a private demonstration asset if the contract permits that bounded work. The creator posting commitment remains on hold. The paid-placement commitment also remains on hold until the relevant owner establishes the route. Do not promise a replacement channel will accept it; review that channel separately.
Write the decision into the purchase order: footage delivery only, no scheduled creator distribution, no paid authorization included. This avoids paying for an audience placement that the team has not cleared. The example is an editorial exercise, not a claim about a particular wallet’s eligibility.
Close the booking with a usable release instruction
At handoff, identify the final file, caption, thumbnail, destination and approved account. Attach the route decision and name the person who can stop publication if the product or policy changes. A thumbs-up on an earlier script should not release a later cut with a different call to action.
Use the crypto campaign brief for production details and keep the route worksheet beside it. Report delivered assets separately from published creator posts and paid results. If a placement stays on hold, state that plainly in the delivery report and invoice review.
3betmedia can discuss creator sourcing, UGC production and short-form content for a defined product and market. Send the intended publishing route with the brief so the scope starts with a decision the team can actually make.
