Prediction Market Event Clips: Preserve the Market State

A clip can preserve exactly what a creator said and still mislead after the market changes. Review the recorded moment and the planned publication together before using the excerpt to promote an event.

Decide whether the clip is a current invitation or a historical explanation

A pre-event creator reaction can invite the viewer to understand a live question. A later recap can explain what people knew at the time. Those are different editorial jobs even when they use the same recorded sentence.

Choose the role before the editor shortens the source. A line such as “there is still time to join” needs a current, reviewed basis when published. Keeping it inside an old recording does not make it an appropriate invitation after the relevant window has passed.

The prediction market content plan sets the wider calendar. The clip review follows the individual asset as its recording date, edit date and publication date diverge.

Preserve the source market and the source moment

Record the actual market address or identifier, question, relevant rules and capture time beside the source segment. Keep any shown price tied to that observation. Do not replace a screen with a newer figure while leaving the creator’s old explanation sounding current.

Polymarket says its markets resolve according to their predefined rules and separates a proposed outcome from a resolved market. Use the actual platform’s source for the market you discuss. A news headline or a creator’s confident reaction is not itself the platform’s settlement decision.

Where wording is ambiguous or a dispute is relevant, route the question to the responsible product reviewer. The editing team should not invent a resolution interpretation so a scheduled post can proceed.

Give the excerpt a state review before publication

Check the current destination and the source segment side by side. The review below identifies production decisions; it is not an automated trading or market-monitoring service.

A date in a caption can help orient a viewer, but it does not repair contradictory speech or an inaccurate destination.

Keep uncertainty when removing the surrounding discussion

Listen to the sentences before and after the proposed cut. A creator may be describing a scenario, reading another person’s argument or explaining why the visible market price could be wrong. Removing that setup can turn an explanation into an endorsement.

Do not isolate a successful prediction and present it as proof of a reliable earning method. A selected moment does not establish a complete record, the costs of trading or a viewer’s likely outcome. Keep fictional demonstrations and real account observations visibly distinct.

Use the market explainer review for the underlying claim. The clip needs another check because its shorter format can remove the qualification that made the original understandable.

A fictional event changes between edit and release

Imagine a creator records an explanation while a market is open. The editor prepares a short excerpt that includes an invitation to view that live market. Before publication, the product reviewer confirms that the market is no longer trading.

The team holds the invitation. It may commission a separately reviewed historical recap if that serves the audience and the rights permit it. It keeps the original observation dated and checks the destination instead of treating the unchanged clip file as proof that nothing relevant changed.

This is an invented workflow example. It does not predict a real outcome, specify a settlement timetable or imply that a recap is appropriate in every market or jurisdiction.

Set responsibility for retained clips

Agree who can pause an unpublished asset and who reviews retained versions when facts change. Record the asset IDs, actual publishers and destinations that fall within the campaign. A correction plan is more useful when it names reachable owners.

Do not promise removal from accounts or forwarded copies the team does not control. Distinguish the commissioned publisher’s obligations from the wider circulation of an excerpt, and keep an honest record of completed changes and remaining limits.

Bring the source material, audience task and review owner to a prediction market creator campaigns discussion. Commission clips that preserve the explanation and leave genuine product or eligibility decisions with the appropriate reviewers.

Frequently asked questions

Can a pre-event clip stay useful after the market closes?

Possibly as a clearly dated historical explanation. Review the speech, destination, purpose and permissions again instead of presenting an expired invitation as current.

Does a creator announcing an outcome prove the market resolved?

No. Check the actual platform process and predefined market rules. Keep reported events, proposed outcomes and final resolution distinct.

Can a timestamp fix an otherwise misleading edit?

No. It provides time context but does not correct contradictory speech, removed qualifications or an inaccurate destination.
