Confirm the event change through the responsible owner
Record which fixture changed, the original scheduled time and the current confirmed status. Keep the source and observation time. A creator’s message about a delay may identify an issue, but the campaign needs confirmation for the actual event and product it promotes.
Ask the operator’s product owner what changed in the customer-facing market or offer. The content team should not decide how existing bets settle or promise that a promotion remains valid under a new date. Those answers come from the actual terms and responsible reviewer.
Pause publication decisions that depend on an unresolved answer. A clearly identified hold is more useful than an amended calendar that makes every asset look current.
Separate scheduled files from published surfaces
List the preview video, alternate openings, captions, thumbnail, creator post and any retained recording. Identify which exist only as files, which sit in a publisher’s queue and which are already public. Each state has a different next action.
For unpublished work, stop the affected version from entering the final publish set. For an already public post, use the agreed contact and creator content pause and correction plan. Keep acknowledgement and actual visible change as separate observations.
Do not assume that editing the brand’s copy changes a creator’s recording or an independent repost. Name the surfaces the team can control and retain the limits.
Review the dependencies inside the asset
| Element | Check | Possible next decision |
|---|---|---|
| Spoken invitation | Old date or wording such as tonight | New performance or a separately accepted edit |
| Product screen | Named fixture, market state and capture time | Current approved capture or held asset |
| Offer | Validity window and confirmed conditions | Product-owner review before reuse |
| Destination | Actual page the viewer reaches | Approved replacement or removal of the invitation |
Document which dependency changed. A short caption correction may solve a caption error; it cannot silently replace contradictory audio or an unavailable product.

Choose what still deserves to run
A durable explanation of an app feature may remain useful if it does not rely on the old event or offer. A match-specific prediction may have lost its original purpose. Evaluate the actual performance rather than keep or discard every file by campaign name.
If the buyer wants a new creator appearance, review it as a changed or replacement commission. The replacement delivery review compares the surviving audience role, timing and acceptance evidence. It does not create a default entitlement to free work.
Keep historical commentary clearly dated if it remains part of an archive. Do not present a pre-event recording as a fresh reaction to news the creator did not know when speaking.
A fictional preview has three different outcomes
Imagine one creator records a match preview, a feature demonstration and an alternate promotional ending. The fixture moves before publication. The preview names the old kickoff, the demonstration contains no event reference, and the ending mentions a deadline the operator has not reconfirmed.
The team holds the preview and ending for their respective decisions. It reviews the feature demonstration on its own facts, permissions and destination. It does not mark all three ready because one evergreen file survived.
This invented example shows an asset-level review. It makes no statement about an actual league, operator, customer entitlement or result.
Release only the accepted versions
Give each revised file a new version and preserve the earlier approval record. Ask the publisher to confirm which export and destination it will use. Check the visible post after publication if that action falls within the campaign.
Keep the new delivery window separate in reporting. A postponed event can change the relevant audience period; an unchanged tracking label does not make the observations directly comparable.
Bring the event status, asset record and review owner to a sportsbook creator campaign scope discussion. Commission the explanation that remains valid instead of repairing only the date on the schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Can we fix a postponed-fixture video by changing its caption?
Only if the actual problem is confined to that caption. Review speech, product screens, offer conditions and destinations for other dependencies.
Does the creator team decide how bets on the moved event settle?
No. Use the operator’s actual terms and responsible product or qualified reviewer. Keep content production separate from settlement decisions.
Should every asset from the original shoot be discarded?
Review each asset. An evergreen feature explanation may remain useful while a dated preview or timed offer needs a new decision.

The asset-impact record and fictional postponement are original production recommendations. Operator terms and qualified reviewers determine product and settlement questions. No real fixture, refund rule, odds availability or automatic contract remedy is asserted.
