Why live streams work for exchanges and launches
A stream shows the product in use for an hour, while chat asks the questions a landing page cannot answer.
- YouTube is where crypto streaming grew. Stream Hatchet counted YouTube channels streaming crypto content rising from 31 in July 2024 to over 200 in June 2025. Twitch peaked in February 2025 on memecoin streams, and Kick's peak came from a trading streamer.
- Twitch draws its line at casino games. Since October 2022 Twitch has barred streaming and linking to slots, roulette or dice sites not licensed in the US or a jurisdiction with sufficient consumer protection. A crypto casino sponsor is caught by that rule, and we check every crypto sponsor against Twitch's guidelines, as of October 2026.
- Kick wants labels and bans scams. Kick's community guidelines, updated in May 2026, support sponsored content with clear disclosure through its Branded Content tool and prohibit scams and fraudulent services.
- One disclosure is not enough live. The FTC says a live stream endorsement should be disclosed again at intervals so late viewers still see it. YouTube also asks creators to tick its paid promotion box.
Platform choice matters as much as the streamer, and our Twitch vs Kick sponsorship comparison covers the trade-offs for regulated sponsors.
Crypto live stream sponsorship formats compared
Not every crypto live stream sponsorship should look the same. We match the format to what you are launching.
| Format | Best for | Platform fit | Success metric |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sponsored charting session | Exchanges adding pairs or features | YouTube Live, Kick | Sign-ups and first trades from the stream link |
| Trading competition on stream | Exchange volume pushes in eligible markets | YouTube Live, Kick | Registered entrants who pass KYC |
| Founder AMA | Token launches and new chains | X live, YouTube Live | Waitlist sign-ups and questions answered |
| Launch day co-stream | Listing or token generation day | Several streamers at once | New accounts or wallets on launch day |
| Recurring weekly slot | Long-term brand presence | The platform the streamer owns | Active users referred month over month |
Trading competitions need the most care: prize rules, eligible countries and KYC come from your legal team, and in the UK the FCA bans refer-a-friend bonuses for crypto. Our page on KOLs for crypto exchange trading volume goes deeper on exchange targets.
How we run crypto streamer sponsorship
Every plan starts with the markets you may serve, then the platform, then the streamer.
- Set the goal and markets. We agree on the product, the eligible countries and the number you report: sign-ups, first trades, entrants or wallets.
- Pick the platform. YouTube Live for search and replays, Kick for trading communities, X live for AMAs, and Twitch where the sponsor fits its guidelines.
- Cast streamers. Charting and trading streamers vetted for audience location and age, chat quality, view bots and past sponsors. Anyone selling signals or promising profits is dropped.
- Script the segment. A demo of the real product, a risk line, repeated paid labels and no talk of guaranteed gains. The streamer keeps their voice while the facts stay fixed.
- Report and rebook. We compare streamers on tracked results from your data and rebook only those whose viewers trade again.
The same casting rules apply across our streamer marketing agency work, crypto or not.

Frequently asked questions
What is crypto streamer marketing?
It is paying live streamers to show a crypto product during a broadcast, such as a charting session, a trading competition, a launch day stream or a founder AMA. 3betmedia plans, casts, scripts and reports these campaigns.
Which crypto streamers do you work with?
Charting and trading streamers on YouTube Live and Kick, market commentators on X live, and Twitch streamers where the sponsor fits Twitch's rules. Every one is vetted for audience age and location, view bots and past sponsors.
How much does a crypto live stream sponsorship cost?
Campaigns start from $2,000, with 10% off the first. Price depends on average live viewers, stream length and the number of streams. We quote from your brief and book nothing until you approve it.
Is crypto streamer sponsorship allowed on Twitch?
Twitch bars slots, roulette and dice sites that are not licensed in the US or a jurisdiction with sufficient consumer protection, so crypto casinos are restricted. For exchanges and tokens we check the current Twitch guidelines for each sponsor before booking, as of October 2026.
Can you run a trading competition on stream?
Yes, where your legal team has set the prize rules, eligible countries and KYC. We cast streamers whose audiences sit in those countries and report registered entrants who pass your checks.
Do your crypto streamers promise profits?
No. Streamers show the product and their own view of the market, include a risk line and disclose the sponsorship repeatedly. Anyone who sells signals or promises gains is removed from our shortlists.
