Why Hyperliquid builders need their own marketing plan
Hyperliquid stopped being one exchange and became a platform other teams build on. That turned its users into a market that dozens of products now compete for.
- Anyone with the stake can list a market. HIP-3 builder-deployed perpetuals went live on 13 October 2025. Deployers stake 500,000 HYPE and keep it staked for 183 days, so each new market needs traders quickly.
- HIP-3 is now a real share of activity. HIP-3 markets cleared $62B in May 2026, and 21Shares counted them at 11.2% of Hyperliquid fees in H1 2026, when the protocol took $419.3M in gross fees on $1.29T of volume.
- Frontends compete for order flow. Builder codes pay frontends a fee on the volume they route. Phantom alone earned about $20.6M this way by June 2026, ahead of Based and MetaMask, with over 100 teams using builder codes.
- Access is restricted by country. Hyperliquid's terms block the US, Ontario and sanctioned territories from its frontend. Creator campaigns must follow the same map.
If you are launching a full perp exchange rather than building on Hyperliquid, our perp DEX marketing agency page is the better fit.
What to promote depends on what you built on Hyperliquid
A HIP-3 market, a vault and a trading frontend need different creators and different numbers.
| Product | What you need | Creator work | Measure |
|---|---|---|---|
| HIP-3 market | Traders and open interest fast | Trader KOLs and launch streams | Active traders and open interest |
| Trading frontend on builder codes | Routed volume that sticks | Walkthroughs and live trading | Volume routed per creator |
| HyperEVM app | Users who connect and return | Explainers and demos | Wallets connected and repeat use |
| Vault or strategy | Depositors who trust the manager | Long-form reviews and AMAs | Deposits and withdrawals |
| Ecosystem token | Holders beyond farmers | Staggered KOL waves | Holders after the airdrop |
Airdrops are common in the ecosystem and easy to waste. Our crypto airdrop marketing agency page explains how we aim them at users, not farmers.
How we run a Hyperliquid campaign
- Product and terms check. We learn exactly what you deploy or route, your fees and the countries you serve.
- Hyperliquid-native casting. We pick trader accounts that actually trade on Hyperliquid, checked through public wallets, plus streamers and explainers who know HyperEVM.
- Briefs with risk lines. Creators explain fees, leverage and liquidation honestly. No profit claims and no hidden sponsorship.
- Launch waves. Market listings, app releases and token events each get a planned creator wave instead of one burst.
- Builder code and referral tracking. Results per creator from builder code volume, referrals and on-chain data, reviewed weekly.
DeFi apps on HyperEVM often need the same mix we use for other chains. See our DeFi marketing agency page.

Frequently asked questions
What does a Hyperliquid marketing agency do?
It helps projects built on Hyperliquid, such as HIP-3 markets, HyperEVM apps, vaults and frontends, find traders and users through creators who already use Hyperliquid.
Can you market a HIP-3 perpetual market?
Yes. A new HIP-3 market needs traders and open interest early, so we book trader KOLs and launch streams around the listing and track active traders.
How do you track results for a builder code frontend?
Each creator gets a link or referral into your frontend, and we report the volume routed through your builder code per creator, alongside active traders.
Do you work with Hyperliquid itself?
We work with independent teams building in the ecosystem. We are not affiliated with Hyperliquid or the Hyper Foundation.
Which countries can you target?
Only those your terms allow. Hyperliquid's frontend blocks the US, Ontario and sanctioned territories, and we follow your own restrictions on top of that.
