Why crypto sportsbooks need a narrower creator plan
A crypto book sits between two worlds. The bettor holds coins and lives on X and Telegram, while the licence and the platforms decide where that bettor may be reached. Both moved a lot in the last two years.
- Licences are under review. Curacao replaced its old master licences with direct licences under the LOK, issuing provisional ones from 24 December 2024 and extending them in June 2025. Anjouan tightened its licence conditions after the FATF report on gambling risks of 9 September 2026.
- YouTube checks who you are. Since 19 March 2025, YouTube removes links, logos and spoken mentions of gambling sites Google has not approved, and age-restricts online gambling content for under-18s and signed-out viewers.
- Kick wants age checks. From February 2025, Kick only allows gambling streams from sites that verify users with ID checks. A book without KYC at sign-up is a risk for any streamer you pay.
- Wrong-market promotion is a criminal risk. In Great Britain, advertising gambling that is not licensed there can be an offence under section 330 of the Gambling Act 2005. A creator with a large UK audience is the wrong pick for an offshore book, however good the numbers look.
Casino play and sports betting need different creators, so this page covers the book only. For slots, live dealer and originals, see our crypto casino marketing agency service.
Four creator types for a crypto book, side by side
Each creator type earns its fee at a different point of the betting week. We pick by the fixture calendar, not by follower count.
| Creator type | Best moment | Main risk | Metric we report |
|---|---|---|---|
| Match-day KOL on X | Team news and line moves before kick-off | Audience in blocked countries | Registrations from the tracked link |
| Telegram tip channel | Daily picks and in-play threads | Picks sold as sure wins | First deposits per channel |
| Kick or YouTube sports streamer | Watch-alongs and weekend coupons | Platform rules on gambling sites | Wagering per stream hour |
| Clippers | Hours after the final whistle | Clips posted without labels | Verified views and code use |
Most crypto books start with two match-day KOLs and one Telegram channel for a month, then add a streamer once the code shows real deposits. Fiat books on regulated markets follow different rules, which our sportsbook marketing agency page covers.
How we run a crypto sportsbook campaign
- Licence and geo check. We read your licence terms, list the countries you block and turn that into a casting rule for every creator.
- Fixture calendar. We map the leagues and events your bettors follow, from Premier League weekends to UFC cards, and set posting windows around them.
- Creator vetting. Each KOL, channel and streamer is checked for audience location, adult followers, bot activity and past promotions of unlicensed books.
- Briefs and labels. Picks are framed as opinion, every paid post carries an ad label, and crypto deposits appear only as a feature your licence allows, never as a reason to bet more.
- Weekly cut. After each round of fixtures we pause creators with no deposits and move budget to the ones bringing bettors who come back.
Streamer sessions get their own run sheet. Our Kick streamer sponsorship management page shows how we handle deal terms, codes and stream rules on Kick.

Why 3betmedia
We have run crypto KOL campaigns since 2018, including exchange user acquisition for Binance, MEXC and Gate.io. Those audiences hold coins already, which is the same bettor a crypto book wants. Today we also run streamer and clipping campaigns for crypto casinos and sportsbooks.
We never market a book into a country it does not hold a licence for, and we never sell betting as income. You approve every creator and every brief. Our gambling influencer marketing compliance guide sets out the rules we work to.

Frequently asked questions
How do you bring bettors to a crypto sportsbook?
It brings bettors to a sportsbook that accepts crypto deposits. 3betmedia does this through creators only: match-day KOLs, Telegram tip channels, sports streamers and clips, all cast inside the markets your licence covers.
How does bitcoin sportsbook marketing differ from regular sportsbook marketing?
The bettor already holds coins, so the creators who reach them are crypto KOLs and Telegram channels as much as sports pundits. The licence is usually offshore, which means geo-blocking and audience location checks matter more than they do for a book licensed in one regulated market.
Is crypto betting marketing legal?
It depends on where your licence lets you take bets and where the creator's audience lives. Promoting a book into a market it is not licensed for can be an offence, as in Great Britain. We cast creators only inside your permitted markets, as of October 2026, and check again when rules change.
How does crypto sportsbook influencer marketing work with tipsters?
Tipster creators share picks as opinion with the paid link or code labelled as an ad. We do not allow lines such as guaranteed winners, locks or bets as a way to earn money, and every post carries a responsible gambling line.
How much does a crypto sportsbook campaign cost?
Campaigns start at $2,000 and the first gets 10% off. A month around a major league usually needs more, depending on how many KOLs, channels and streamers you want. We price from your brief and book nothing until you approve the plan.
