Why LatAm is planned country by country
There is no single LatAm licence. Mexico, Colombia and Peru license online gambling nationally, Argentina does it province by province, Chile is still writing its law, and Brazil banned betting and its advertising on 25 September 2026. The creator plan follows that map.
- Mexico runs on SEGOB permits. Ads may only promote activity permitted by SEGOB, and the gaming regulation asks campaigns to show the permit number, a responsible gambling message and that minors cannot play. The IEPS tax on online betting rose to 50% on 1 January 2026.
- Colombia caps the spend. Coljuegos Resolution 20231000019054, in force since January 2024, limits advertising to authorised operators, keeps it away from minors and caps annual spend. Coljuegos has also asked Meta to block influencers who promoted illegal betting.
- Peru labels every creator post. MINCETUR has licensed online betting since 9 February 2024. Indecopi says influencer posts need a label such as #Publicidad and the legal warning that excessive betting can cause ludopatía, with fines of up to 700 UIT.
- Argentina and Chile are moving targets. A national bill banning influencer gambling promotion passed the Chamber of Deputies in November 2024 and is stalled in the Senate, and an October 2026 Buenos Aires province bill would ban online betting outright. Chile's bill 14.838-03 sits in Senate committees, with new amendments leaning towards prohibition.
Brazil stays off every LatAm plan we write. The detail is in our Brazil betting advertising ban explainer.
LatAm iGaming markets compared for creator campaigns
This is how the main markets look for a licensed brand's creator campaign as of October 2026, based on regulators and trade press listed below.
| Market | Who licenses | Creator ad rules to plan for | Fit for a creator campaign |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mexico | SEGOB permit holders | Permit number, responsible gambling message, no minors, PROFECO disclosure of paid posts | Open to permit holders and their brands |
| Colombia | Coljuegos concession | Authorised operators only, ads kept from minors, annual spend cap | Open to Coljuegos-authorised brands |
| Peru | MINCETUR authorisation since February 2024 | #Publicidad label and the ludopatía warning in each post | Open to MINCETUR-authorised brands |
| Argentina | Provinces and the City of Buenos Aires, licence by licence | Provincial rules, with national and Buenos Aires province bills pending | Only where your provincial licence covers the audience |
| Chile | No online licence yet | Courts treat unlicensed sites as illegal and ISPs are ordered to block them | Not until a law passes |
| Brazil | Ban under MP 1.394/2026 | Betting advertising and sponsorship banned in every medium | Excluded |
Spanish-language streamers draw viewers across borders, so a Mexican stream can carry Chilean viewers too. Each brief follows our iGaming campaign localisation checklist, with geo-targeted links and country-specific disclaimers.
How we run a LatAm creator campaign
Football sets the rhythm. Liga MX, Copa Libertadores and the domestic leagues give a weekly calendar, and Mexico co-hosted the 2026 World Cup, which one economist expected to lift online betting there by up to 50%. Casino streams fill the gaps between fixtures.
- Licence map. We list the countries your licences cover, the products in each and the person who signs off compliance. Unlicensed countries are left out of targeting and links.
- Casting by country and accent. Mexican, Colombian, Peruvian and Argentine creators sound different and draw different crowds. We check audience country, age data and past sponsors, including grey-market casinos.
- Fixture and stream calendar. Sportsbook creators are booked around Liga MX, Libertadores and local rounds; casino streamers run fixed weekly sessions.
- Country briefs. Mexico gets the permit number, Peru gets #Publicidad and the ludopatía warning, Colombia gets authorised brands only. No win-only edits, no income claims, no bonus talk where a market restricts it.
- Live checks and rebooking. We review streams and VODs against the brief, then rebook the creators who brought depositing players from licensed countries.
Many Spanish-language casino streamers broadcast on Kick; our Kick streamer sponsorship management page explains how we run those deals.

Frequently asked questions
What does an igaming marketing agency for LatAm do?
It brings players to licensed casinos and sportsbooks in Latin American markets. At 3betmedia that means creators only: casino streamers, football creators, clippers and UGC, cast country by country. We do not run SEO, PPC or media buying.
How does igaming influencer marketing in Latin America differ by country?
Each country sets its own licence and ad rules. Mexico asks for the SEGOB permit number and a responsible gambling message, Colombia limits ads to Coljuegos-authorised operators and caps spend, and Peru wants #Publicidad plus the ludopatía warning. Argentina is licensed by province, Chile has no online licence yet and Brazil is closed.
Can you work as an igaming marketing agency for Mexico?
Yes, for SEGOB permit holders and the brands operating under their permits. Creators show the permit number, the responsible gambling message and the no-minors line, and paid posts are disclosed as PROFECO expects. We cast Mexican creators who cover Liga MX or stream casino content.
Can you run casino streamer marketing in LatAm?
Yes. Our roster includes Spanish-speaking LatAm casino streamers on Kick, Twitch and YouTube, and each platform's gambling policy is checked before booking. Streams carry the target country's labels and warnings, and we cut viewers from unlicensed countries out of the tracking. Our gambling influencer compliance guide lists the checks.
Can you run campaigns for Brazilian players?
No. MP 1.394/2026, in force since 25 September 2026, bans fixed-odds betting and its advertising and sponsorship in any medium, including content aimed at Brazilian audiences from abroad. We keep Brazil out of every brief and tracking setup.
What does a LatAm creator campaign cost?
Campaigns start at $2,000, and the first gets 10% off. The total follows the countries, the number of creators and whether you want streams, clips or match-day posts. We price each plan from your brief and book nothing until you approve it.
